A tap at the counter, a ring in their pocket.
No devices to hand out or collect. Staff type the number and press “Ready”; the alert goes to that customer’s phone.
A quarter of an hour of your customer’s time.
From scanning the code to picking up the order, without standing at the counter waiting.
Scans the code at the counter with the phone camera.
Number on the lock screen. Sits down, steps out to the car, or scrolls.
You press “Ready”. The phone rings and the card turns to “Ready”.
Picks up the order. The card leaves the screen. We never knew their name or number; we never asked.
Why replace the pager?
The idea your customers already know, without the device.
| Aspect | Classic pager | DOREK |
|---|---|---|
| Devices | You buy them, charge them daily, and some go missing. | None. The customer’s phone is the device. |
| Range | Inside the shop and just outside. | Wherever their phone has internet. |
| Hygiene | One device, many hands. | Nothing handed over or returned. |
| Did they get the call? | You find out when they show up. | Staff see whether the alert arrived, and call again with a tap. |
What owners ask
Do customers need to download an app?
No. On iPhone the camera opens a small part of the app (an App Clip) directly, with no App Store download and no account.
What does my shop need?
A tablet or computer with a browser for staff, and a printed QR code at the counter. Nothing to buy or install.
Does it work for clinics and queues, not just orders?
Yes. In a clinic the patient sees “It’s your turn · Go to Room 1” instead of “Your order is ready”, and the next turn is called with a tap.
What do you keep about customers?
Only the ticket number and its status. No name, phone number or location, and no ads. Details in the privacy policy.
How much does it cost?
Tell us what kind of place you run and how many branches, and we’ll reply with the details.
